Yearbook Costs
Yearbooks4Computers provide two yearbook service options:
1) A yearbook CD for each year group member = £10 per member
A yearbook CD is supplied to each year group member - each CD is produced and printed in colour using your year group’s own design.
2) A single yearbook CD for copying purposes = £5 per member
A single yearbook CD printed in colour using your year group’s own design is supplied for your school/college to copy and distribute to members as required.
A £5 deposit per year group member is required at the time of registration. Your yearbook editor will have the option of changing your service choice at any time during the process of creating the yearbook, including extra mb (megabytes) per member - your final costs will be adjusted accordingly.
Extra MBs of space for year group members:
Each year group member is allocated 5mb of space in the yearbook. This is usually plenty of space for a typical year group member’s page containing video clips, photos & text. A meter is provided on each member’s page to indicate how much space they have left.
For extra mb per member, add £1 per mb per member to the prices shown above. For example: If a year group required 6mb per member (1 extra mb), Service 1 would cost £11 per member and Service 2 would cost £6 per member.
If your year group is larger than 150, or your year group uses more than 750mb of space, your yearbook will automatically be written to DVD. This is because the largest writeable CD has 800mb of space - there is no extra charge for this service. Yearbooks on CD can be played in either a CD or DVD player - Yearbooks on DVD can only be played in a DVD player. Your computer will require an internet connection and Windows Explorer (Internet browser) to play your yearbook CD/DVD.
